Video killed the Radio star…
But what if you could get video and radio in the same place?
Breakthru Radio has been steadily growing, we’re getting over 2 million listeners a week. It’s time to expand to accommodate and make things a little more interesting for everyone. In June we’ll launch a brand new site that will be more interactive and will also feature an indie film division. So, get your submissions in! Music videos, films, shorts, etc… we’ll be looking for them!
Of course we’re always looking for new music, so keep sending that in as well. This week has been great for me! I’ve received tons of interest and submissions and they’ve all been really good! It sucks when I get music that’s just not good. I’m pretty open too… I like all genres of music and I realize that even if I don’t like something, someone else might. But sometimes it’s just bad….the quality is horrible, the lead singer really needs to work on his vocals, the instruments are all at varying tempos… and that’s hard because I have trouble telling someone they need work. Seriously who am I to tell them anyway? If Nirvana had given me one of their demos, I’m pretty sure I would have turned them down. (I’m basing this on the Nirvana, Sliver Best of Box, which I found pretty painful to listen to.)
Fortunately, this week has been one hit after another. And to let you in on a little secret… I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS! haha! The wonders of modern technology! So let’s start chatting. We can talk about breakthru artists, main stream music, or whatever else is on your mind! I just want to start communicating about all the wonderful music out there and if you want to know more about any of the bands I play PLEASE ASK! Comment, chat in the forum, and give me something else to do here rather than ‘Ramble On’.
